BORLA® Products and Features

BORLA®’s CrateMufflers® is the world’s first line of performance mufflers specifically designed to optimize the sound and power of crate and custom-built motors, which can include both stock and heavily modified Small Block Chevy and Small Block Ford crate engines. They are directional mufflers, and the flow direction can be identified by the mounting bracket welded to the end cop on the outlet side.

CrateMuffler® Features

There are three available BORLA® sound levels, including Touring, S-Type, and ATAK®. The CrateMuffler’s® distinctive mounting endplate bracket allows the attachment of a service-removable hanger system with minimal visible welding, using a variety of BORLA® CrateMuffler® hanger kits, which are sold separately. The aircraft-grade, brushed-finish T-304 stainless steel ensures a long-lasting showroom appearance. 

BORLA® Boomers

BORLA® Boomers are high-tech race-proven mufflers built for the street or track. They are fully polished, utilizing BORLA’s patented race-winning technology. They add head-turning sound and a boost in horsepower that will put you in the lead. BORLA® Boomers are made of aircraft-quality T-304 stainless steel and are available in a variety of universal-fit styles.

BORLA's XR-1®

BORLA's XR-1® products feature a patented uninterrupted-flow design and multi-core technology, constructed of T-304 stainless steel. They meet the strictest noise requirements and outflow a straight piece of pipe. The 100% welded construction is track-tough and its design attenuates sound without restricting flow. This product has a reversible design for installation flexibility and is recommended for high-horsepower racing applications. 

BORLA® ProXS™

BORLA® ProXS™ Mufflers utilize a straight-through design. No chambers or baffles are used to slow down the exhaust flow. This product consists of high-temperature continuous-filament fiber (CFF) acoustic material for sound control and is recommended for car, SUV, and truck applications.
